Nutmeg essential oil comes from the nut within the fruit of an evergreen tree in the Myristicaceae family Nutmeg has a warm, slightly spicy aroma that is energizing and uplifting. Trust me, you want nutmeg this time of year. It's such a great oil to bake with, and most of us will be doing a lot of that this time of year. Add it to your pumpkin pie- AMAZE! And if you aren't one to bake, throw it in your diffuser with a little cinnamon bark or orange and pretend like you've been baking all day.
Nutmeg & Stress:

Who’s getting free Clove and Cinnamon Bark this month?! Or maybe you already have them because you stocked up on all the fall scents. Well here are some additional ways to use them!
Clove is a stimulating and energizing essential oil. Cinnamon Bark essential oil has a warm, spicy aroma that cleanses the air and creates a warming sensation on the skin when used with massage. This combo is great to add to your diffuser in the morning. During the fall and winter seasons (right now!!) , diffuse three drops of Clove with two drops of Cinnamon and one drop of Orange for an amazing Fall scent.
Clove helps to clean the teeth and gums while promoting fresh breath. Amazing for toothaches. During your nighttime routine, dilute and add one drop of Clove oil to your toothbrush before applying toothpaste. You can also apply one drop of diluted Clove oil to the teeth and gums after your six-month cleaning at the dentist.
Clove essential oil contains powerful antioxidant properties. It helps to quench free radicals and maintain a healthy immune system. You can diffuse it or dilute it with a carrier oil and apply it topically to the neck and chest or even take it internally in an empty capsule. Add 1 drop into your coconut oil for your oil pulling! Add it to all your fall baking, like gingerbread, spice cake, cider, etc...
Clove naturally repels insects. Diffuse Clove oil or create an essential oil spray bottle to use. For a 30 ml glass spray bottle add about 30 drops of clove essential oil and fill the rest with distilled water. Use as needed.
Clove may naturally support skin issues and blemishes. DIY Recipe: Mix 3 drops of Clove oil with 2 teaspoons of raw honey. Spread on your face for a few minutes, then rinse off and pat dry.
THINGS TO NOTE:
Clove and Cinnamon Bark are hot oils, so it's always recommended to dilute them when using them topically. If you apply it and it's uncomfortable or your skin seems to be getting too red, DO NOT APPLY WATER, add carrier oil such as coconut oil on top of it to dilute it more, and 'wash' off.

Ok if you don't have Patchouli you're missing out and you're in for a treat this month. It's fabulous for your skin, add a drop of to your YL moisturizer at night and watch it do its magic with those fine lines 〰
This oil can also help with sleep! A drop on the back of the neck and I am out. I love to diffuse this with some Orange and Frankincense! Now let's talk about them E-M-O-T-I-O-N-S because, like hormones, we all got them. Have feelings of jealousy? Obsessions? Insecurities? You might need some Patchouli friends. It allows for these feelings to dissipate while it promotes clarity in the mind.
Here is my FAVVVVVV way to use Patchouli...this bombtastic “liquid xanax” blend includes:

30 Drops Stress Away
50 Drops Lavender
15 Drops Vetiver
15 Drops Patchouli
Top with carrier oil in roller bottle. Apply to wrists, behind ears/neck, over heart & inhale!

Ingredients:
Thieves Essential Oil
Lemon Essential Oil
Small container local honey
Tea bags of your choice
Directions for thieves tea:
Brew one cup of hot tea, add in one drop thieves oil, one drop lemon oil, one teaspoon local honey, and stir to combine. Drink while warm, and enjoy whenever you need to support your immune system or for a soothing experience.
If you prefer coffee over tea, here is a delicious Pumpkin Spice creamer recipe you HAVE to try!
P U M P K I N S P I C E C O F F E E C R E A M E R
2 cups Coconut Milk (or you could use regular milk or heavy cream!)
1 1/3 cup Pumpkin Pureé
1 TSP Pure Vanilla Extract
1 drop Cinnamon Essential Oil
1 drop Clove Essential Oil
1 drop Nutmeg Essential Oil
1 drop Ginger Essential Oil
Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. Shake before using!
